Fab Five: New Gospel Super Group Formed

Four Gospel artists and an R&B veteran have formed a new all-star group called Five (V) Men.

The quintet includes R&B star Christopher Williams and Gospel singers Melvin and Doug Williams of The Williams Brothers, Shawn McLemore and Wess Morgan.

The group aims to fuse traditional and contemporary Gospel music with mainstream R&B sounds.

Five (V) Men has released their first single, ‘Champion’ via MBM Entertainment Group.  Their debut album, titled “Champions,” is slated to be released later this year.

Five (V) Men follows a trend in men’s music collectives including TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank) and United Tenors (Fred Hammond, Dave Hollister, Brian Courtney Wilson and Eric Roberson).
