Finishing Move: Is Wrestler JTG Ready To Leave WWE?
It’s never a good sign when you bash your employer on social media, especially when you’re still employed by that company and you post your messages during their live TV broadcast.
On Monday night, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler JTG, whose real name is Jayson Anthony Paul, took to his official Twitter account @JTG1284 to sound off about his frustrations with the company during their top-rated “Monday Night RAW” broadcast on USA Network.
During a series of Twitter posts, JTG ranted: “I’m tired of me and my locker room brothers being taken advantage of.”
Though the wrestling star never detailed exactly what it was that upset him, there’s unconfirmed online speculation that the 28-year-old talent may have been upset over the lower-than-expected “Wrestlemania” bonuses the wrestlers received.

JTG, which is short for Just That Gangsta, began working for WWE in 2006 but was released from the contract in 2007. After a year on the independent wrestling circuit, he returned to WWE in 2008 and wrestled as one-half of the WWE tag team Cryme Tyme along with Shad Gaspard.
When Gaspard was released from his contract in 2010, JTG became a singles competitor that was regulated mostly to untelevised matches before “RAW” or matches for WWE’s online-only series “NXT Redemption,” which tapes before the “Smackdown” shows on Tuesday evenings.
Gaspard, who had been on a Twitter campaign to return to WWE to reunite with JTG as Cryme Tyme, also posted a Twitter message on his official Twitter page @ShadBeast in support of his old tag team partner.

The Harlem, New York-bred superstar recently ditched his dated, hip-hop-inspired in-ring attire of baggy jeans and Timberland boots for a modern look that features black studded boots, a matching jacket and either red or black trunks.
The WWE has yet to comment on the incident. At press time, there had not been any activity on JTG’s Twitter page since his last message on Monday evening.
