Nissan Nights: Auto Brand Drives Into NY’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story” Special Screening
Nissan landed in New York City just like the Millennium Falcon in “Star Wars” for a special celebrity-packed screening of “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”
Held at Chelsea’s SVA Theater and presented by the Cinema Society, several of the principal cast members in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” like Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo), Donald Glover (Lando Calrissian) Emilia Clarke (Kira) and Paul Bettany (Dryden Vos) were on-hand to walk the red carpet and view the jam-packed event.
Celebrities like Hollywood it-girl Tiffany Haddish, R&B superstar Maxwell, actor Bradley Cooper, designer Cynthia Rowley, comedienne Michelle Collins, music manager Kevin Liles, and actress Alia Shawkat were among the notables in attendance.
Nissan is the official automotive partner of “Star Wars” and not only sponsored the screening, but also it’s after party at Le Bain on the rooftop of the Standard Hotel.
Nissan also had a “Star Wars” custom Nissan Rogue outside of the SVA Theater that had been adapted into their version of the Millennium Falcon.
At a pre-reception before the screening, Nissan also premiere mini custom versions of the Rogue adapted from the Han Solo and Chewbacca characters.
