Secret Signature: The 2019 Mazda CX-9 Is Subtle Luxury Done Well

Mazda just gets their vehicles right! You always feel like you’re being offered a more bang for your buck, as they overall focus on quality over quantity.

So happened to be out running errands in the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature on a Friday night when I was in Target and ran into someone who had moved away for a while and had returned to the Washington, DC area. That encounter immediately reminded me of reality TV start and political personality Omarosa Manigault Newman, as I knew we both once were acquainted with the person.

While putting my bags in the back of the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature (I had not dropped the third row for additional cargo seating – though it’s a great option), I phone Omarosa to tell her about the encounter.

Omarosa was nearby at D.C.’s Reagan National Airport and her Uber driver was turned around and she had been waiting a while. I was literally two miles from her and I went to save the day and picked her up to take her into the city to her residence.

When she got in the car, the first thing she said was: “This is a Mazda? I don’t think I’ve ever been in one. This is really nice. I’m impressed.”

Truth is her sentiment is how a lot of people feel when they’re first introduced to all of the amenities and high-quality offerings you get in Mazda vehicles like the CX-9 and others.

This small-sized SUV is fast with great acceleration. It’s a comfortable drive, with impeccable handling and basically grips the road when you in it.

You can sit six people comfortably or seven depending on size; and you can fill the back trunk with shopping bags and the second row with large luggage like I did the night I scooped up Omarosa.

The 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature will get you 20 city miles per gallon, and you go up to 26 mpg’s on the highway.

Mazda customers are loyal and typically are repeat buyers. Spend some time in one and you’ll understand why.
