He’s the rock star political pundit who is one of CNN’s most notable contributors, as well as host of his own TV One series “Washington Watch”—Roland Martin talks serious for a living, but he sure knows how to party.
The 43-year-old media personality hosted his annual Congressional Black Caucus party, Roland Martin’s Annual Ascot Affair and a who’s who of high profile political types and celebrities were on hand for the shindig.
“I host this party because I like to remind people that politics can be fun,” said Martin, who donned a white dinner jacket with a lavender and green ascot. “We work hard to make sure the political process works for the people, but at the end of the day, we play hard, too!”
Martin has to get his partying out now, because he’ll go into overdrive in the coming weeks preparing for his coverage of the 2012 Presidential Election.
