Wendy Williams: No Celebrity Friends In Real Life
“We may be at a charity event later on in the week together, and we might drink white wine and giggle for that moment, but I don’t have one celebrity phone number in my phone. My closest women friends are moms in the school system where we live because I have more in common with them,” offered Williams.
The 48-year-old former radio shock jock, who has previously discussed on her daytime talk show private dinners and gatherings with both Vanessa Williams and Toni Braxton, confessed those relationships are to aide in show bookings.
“I have celebrity girlfriends for their purpose of coming to the show,” she explained.
Williams told ABC News Radio that she considers herself to be just “a regular girl from New Jersey” and balances her daytime career with being a wife to Kevin Hunter, who doubles as her manager, and a mother to her son, who she lovingly refers to as “Little Kev.”
With her talk show being in its fourth season, Williams revealed that she does have a favorite guest out of everyone who has sat on her couch: Simon Cowell.
“Well, he says it like he means it and he’s easy on the eyes,” she admitted. “And he likes me.”
