Chris Brown: Cell Phone Trouble & Twitter Update
Good news for Chris Brown. The 24-year-old entertainer will not face charges in the Miami incident where a woman claimed he snatched her cell phone after she tried to take a photo of him outside of a nightclub.
The Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s office released a memorandum on Friday that concluded there is no evidence that Brown intended to steal the phone in February or that he deleted the photo. In order for the entertainer to have been charged, one or the other would have had to been determined.
The Tappahannock, Virginia-bred superstar avoided a felony charge that would have triggered a violation of his probation for the 2009 assault on girlfriend, singer Rihanna.
In addition to avoiding his latest legal trouble, Brown has reactivated his Twitter account.
But apparently he’s ready to return to the social media platform. Despite having not tweeted anything as of press time, Brown still had 11.6 million followers on Twitter.
While on his short Twitter hiatus, the controversial vocalist remained active on his Instagram page.
Over the weekend, he posted an image on him smoking some form of a cigarette, with Rihanna lying near him covered in a camouflage-print blanket.
He also posted another image with a caption that read: “Thinking about life. Complex and bizarre but yet a necessity.”
