Debbi Morgan: Soap Veteran Returning To “All My Children”

It looks to be official this time — “All My Children” is returning!

Fans of the long-running ABC daytime drama were outraged by the cancellation of the series in 2011.

The company Prospect Park then struck a deal to re-launch the shows as web series that same year, but it appeared as though the deal fell apart.

Now, “All My Children” star Debbi Morgan has confirmed that the online revivals are back on. The Emmy Award-winning actress revealed on Twitter via @damedebbi920 that she will reprise her role of Dr. Angie Hubbard for the re-launch.

“Ok, I can finally announce how thrilled I am to be on board with the ‘All My Children’ re-boot and Prospect Park,” she wrote. “Agnes Nixon, you’re my HERO!!!”

It has also been confirmed Nixon, the 85-year-old creator of both “All My Children” and “One Life To Live,” will have an “active involvement” in the web versions of both shows.
