In the days following his fight with R&B star Frank Ocean at a Los Angeles recording studio, Chris Brown has been photographed wearing a cast on his arm.
The trouble-prone singer also posted an image of himself on Instagram painting an image of Jesus on the cross along with the two prisoners who were crucified with Christ. The photo included a message that read: “Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!”
The Tappahannock, Virginia-bred entertainer then caught flack for the apparent likeness to Jesus – as it appeared to most that Brown was saying he’s been crucified, like Christ, by the media.
The backlash has now caused Brown to change his social media settings.
“But… social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I’m detaching myself from that world,” Brown posted before making his Instagram private.
This won’t be the first time the singer made an abrupt change to his social media.
On Dec. 3, 2012, AlwaysAList.com reported that Brown had returned to Twitter a week after announcing he was quitting the interactive platform.
