Singer Bobby Brown is going to jail. The New Edition member has been sentenced to 55 days following his DUI arrest in October, according to TMZ.
The 44-year-old entertainer was pulled over last year in Los Angeles after police noticed him driving erratically. Brown was then arrested on charges of suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license from an earlier DUI conviction.
On Tuesday, the Boston-bred singer pled no contest to the charges and a judge sentenced to 55 days in jail, four years of probation and an 18-month alcohol program.
Brown must turn himself in to authorities by March 20 and must also attend three AA meetings a week until then.
