Bobbi Kristina: Whitney Houston’s Daughter Makes Acting Debut
The late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown makes her acting debut on Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” on TBS tonight, 9pm ET.
It was announced in March that the 19-year-old daughter of Houston and New Edition singer Bobby Brown would join the TV spin-off of Perry’s film “Why Did I Get Married.” Brown will star in a recurring role alongside “For Better or Worse” stars Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White.
Perry is excited for viewers to see Brown at work. In an email to fans, he wrote: “Bobbi Kristina makes her acting debut. Whitney would be so proud. Krissi did such a great job. I was blown away by her acting debut! You’ll see…”
Houston family friend, gospel singer/preacher Kim Burrell also spoke about Brown’s career pursuits when I spoke to her recently.
“Bobbi is doing really good! She’s fighting and I’m glad to say she’s starting to pay attention to her own career,” Burrell shared.
In addition to her role on “For Better or Worse,” Brown is an aspiring singer hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps. Viewers will get to see her working to launch her music career while coping with the death of her mother on Lifetime’s “The Houston Family Chronicles” this fall.
