Beyoncé: Personal Apology To Fans
Beyoncé has apologized to fans in Antwerp, Belgium for having to cancel a concert date due to doctor’s orders.
The pop sensation is currently on her “Mrs. Carter Show” tour but had to cancel a tour date on Tuesday at Antwerp’s Sportpaleis because of “dehydration and exhaustion.”
The cancellation further fueled speculation that Beyoncé is pregnant with her second child. Regardless, her rep released a statement explaining the doctor’s orders.
“Beyoncé has been advised by her doctors to rest as a result All Postsof dehydration and exhaustion and will not be able to perform in Antwerp, Belgium, tonight,” the statement said.
The 31-year-old entertainer has now penned a personal note to fans apologizing for having the abrupt cancellation yesterday and confirming her show on Wednesday will take place.
“To my dearest fans in Antwerp. I’ve never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I Will make it up very soon. I’m sorry if I disappointed you. Thank you for your concern. I’m feeling much better now. And I’m ready to give you a great show. See you tonight. All my love,” wrote Beyoncé.
The “Mrs. Carter Show” kicked off last month in Belgrade, Serbia and the tour will play throughout the summer with dates at both the BET Experience in Los Angeles and the Essence Festival in New Orleans. The tour concludes Aug. 5 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
