Round Two: SWV Gets A Second Season

WE TV has given the green-light to a second season of “SWV Reunited.”

The reality show, starring Sisters With Voices members Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “LeLee” Lyons, and Tamara “Taj” George, premiered on Thursday, Jan. 16 and its six-episode season averaged 1.2 million viewers.

Comparatively speaking, “SWV Reunited” was only .2 behind WE TV’s highest-rated series, “Braxton Family Values,” which averaged 1.4 million viewers for their season.

Season one of the “SWV Reunited” ended with the 90s R&B girl group being at odds over Coko’s decision to move forward with her gospel single and her resistance to record a second group record for their current label Mass Appeal Entertainment/eOne.

SWV recently taped a performance for BET’s “Celebration of Gospel” special airing on April 6 and performed Coko’s gospel song, ‘At Your Feet,’ before singing alongside gospel legend Rance Allen.
