They will be formally revealed Friday morning on NBC’s “Today Show,” but AlwaysAList.com has already learned exclusively who the cast is for the all-star season of Donald Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
The 14 returning contestants for season six of “The Celebrity Apprentice” include La Toya Jackson, rapper Lil’ Jon, actress Lisa Rhinna, rocker Bret Michaels, reality TV star Omarosa Manigault, basketball legend Dennis Rodman, model & radio host Claudia Jordan, country superstar Trace Adkins, actress Brande Roderick, Las Vegas headliner Penn Jillette, rock star Dee Snider, actress Marilu Henner, actor Stephen Baldwin and Oscar nominee Gary Busey.
Of the 14 returning contestants, Michaels is the only previous winner in the bunch, having won the third season of the show in 2010. Other previous winners of “The Celebrity Apprentice” include (in order of season) CNN host Piers Morgan, comedienne Joan Rivers, country star John Rich and comic Arsenio Hall.
Both country music crooner Adkins and rapper/dee-jay Lil’ Jon were extremely successful competitors during their respective seasons and raised a significant amount of money for their charities.
Reality TV star Omarosa has the most experience under her belt having competed on two previous seasons of the franchise. The former-reality-TV-vixen-turned-ordained-minister became a household name during her appearance on the debut season of “The Apprentice” in 2004. She also competed on the first installment of “The Celebrity Apprentice” in 2008.
Sources close to the production tell AlwaysAList.com that Omarosa, who is still mourning the death of her fiancé, Oscar nominee Michael Clarke-Duncan, will not appear with the other cast members during their “Today” interview on Friday.
Jackson, who will star in her own reality series, “Life With La Toya” for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network next year, will chronicle part of her journey on “The Celebrity Apprentice” for her own show as well.
