Viral video sensation Karlton Humes—known by his more than a half-million Instagram followers as NotKarltonBanks—has launched a line of emojis.
The virtual entertainer has landed a groundbreaking deal with Eboticon for the NotKarltonBanks Emoji Pack, an exclusive line of emoji icons based on the characters and gestures Humes uses on his social media platform.
“It feels really good to be able to have my art expressed through these emojis,” Humes told AlwaysAList.com. “I’m Just glad to be able to help people express how they feel with using my characters.”
A church boy from Hayti, Missouri, who now resides in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Humes now joins the ranks of other top stars with emoji lines, including reality TV star Kim Kardashian, NBA champion Steph Curry, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Amber Rose, singer Justin Bieber, reality personality Blac Chyna and rapper Rick Ross.
From the middle-finger-flipping Lee Lee to Pastor and First Lady B; Humes’ parody and impersonation videos have been must-see viral attractions that have the who’s who of the entertainment industry regularly sharing, commenting on and reposting them.
“I started doing these characters just playing around one day and shot it on my iPhone. It has now evolved into something greater than I imagined. I’m happy that my manager JeeMell Green of the Headliner Agency was able to help bring this vision to life,” the 23-year-old entertainer expressed.
Humes also shared that his dream opportunity would be to develop and also star in a faith-based remake of the Nickelodeon variety series, “All That.”
Humes’ emoji line is through Eboticon, a brand that specializes in creating emojis and GIF’s (Graphic Interchange Format) that speak to the urban interactive experience.
