Actor Boris Kodjoe has been cast in the film adaptation of author Zane’s novel, “Addicted.”
The 39-year-old actor will play Jason Reynard, one of the lead characters in the film version of the New York Times best-seller.
The story centers on Zoe, a woman with a successful career, a loving husband, three beautiful children, and the house of her dreams. Despite her picture-perfect life, Zoe has a secret that could destroy everything – she’s a sex addict who is satisfying her fetish by having sex with other men.
The character of Zoe has not yet been cast.
“Addicted” is a Lionsgate film directed by Billie Woodruff and produced by Paul Hall and Charisse Nesbit.
Kodjoe is best known for his role on the Showtime series, “Soul Food.” The actor, who starred on the short-lived NBC drama, “Undercovers,” recently appeared in the film “Resident Evil: Retribution.”
