R&B band Boyz II Men are threatening to sue a filmmaker who refuses to change the title of his new movie “Boys 2 Men.”
The Philadelphia-bred trio, made of up Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, are threatening to take the makers of the film to court if he doesn’t change the name.
Publicists for Boyz II Men sent a formal letter to the filmmakers declaring that they never gave permission to use the name that they own the rights to. The ‘End of the Road’ singers acknowledge that they are ready to involve their attorneys to go after the makers of the film, and any studio, theater or website that carries it.
In a statement to TMZ, the writer/director of “Boys 2 Men” said they have no intentions on changing the film’s name unless they’re “boxed in a legal corner.” As of now, they don’t think they have an issue.
