He’s become a Hollywood force with his scripted television series, his films and his touring plays, but now Tyler Perry has set his sites on animation.
AlwaysAList.com has learned that the 44-year-old mogul is gearing up for an animated film project called “Madea’s Kids.”
The feature film will target children and though details are sketchy, apparently actress/talk show host Rolonda Watts is already attached.
Watts is a sought-after voiceover talent, having used her voice as the narrator for the syndicated court show “Judge Joe Brown,” as well as countless television and radio commercial ads.
Later this year, Perry returns to the big screen with his holiday film, “A Madea Christmas.” That movie opens on Dec. 13, 2013.
