R&B group Boyz II Men is headed to Las Vegas.
The trio (consisting of Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris, and Shawn Stockman) will be taking up residency starting on March 1, 2013 and will play every weekend at the Terry Fator Theater at The Mirage Hotel.
Boyz II Men will play 78 weekend shows and the production will include their biggest hits and some classic covers as well.
“We do a variety of songs. Songs that are not just our own but songs from the 70s and the 80s. We do some doo-wop. You are going to hear some a cappella. So, it is going to be a variety of entertaining things going on that people will be able to get into,” said Morris.
Best known for hits like “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love To You,” “On Bended Knee” and “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday,” Boyz II Men also had chart success with their 2007 covers CD, “Motown A Journey Through Hitsville USA” and their 2009 remake of Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”
Tickets for their show at The Mirage Hotel will start at $39.99.
This is not Boyz II Men’s first headlining stint in Las Vegas. The group played a limited engagement at The Flamingo Hotel in December 2010 while headliner, comedian George Wallace was on his holiday hiatus.
