R&B star Lil’ Mo welcomed her fourth child, a son named Jonah Maddox-Phillip Byrant on Tuesday, July 10.
The “Superwoman” singer is married to gospel singer Phillip Bryant and baby Johan is the couple’s second child. They also have a three-year-old son named Justin McKenzie Bryant.
The 33-year-old vocalist also has two daughters from her previous marriage to Al Stone – Heaven, 10, and God’iss Love, 7.
The running joke with Mo and her friends is that every time she releases a new CD, she ends up getting pregnant.
“I think I put a spell on my womb when I said every time I put out an album a baby is sure to be made,” said the Baltimore-based singer. “My whole movement is the whole ‘iLove ME’ theme, so when my husband Phillip Bryant and I found out we were preggers with baby number four, we knew the spell had come true! Two boys and two girls; sweet, now I’ve got my balance!”
The pint-sized singer has actually released four albums since making her debut in 1999 – Based on a True Story (2001), Meet the Girl Next Door (2003), Pain & Paper (2007) and P.S. I Love Me (2011).
AlwaysAList.com asked the singer will there be a fifth child to accompany her next CD? “I think I’m good,” she replied!
