90′s R&B trio SWV are back in stride again and were one of the highlights at this weekend’s taping of BET’s “Black Girls Rock!” celebration.
The Sisters With Voices, made up of Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Tamara “Taj” George and Leanne “LeLee” Lyons, performed a medley of their hits and received a thunderous ovation from the audience at the Paradise Theater in Bronx, NY. The show airs on BET on Sunday, Nov. 4.
This past April, SWV released “I Missed Us,” their first album since 1997. The CD was released on Mass Appeal Entertainment/eOne and was led by the first single, “Co-Sign.”
SWV, who was featured on VH1′s TV special “100 Greatest: Women in Music,” also toured this spring on The Fresh Music Festival alongside Keith Sweat, Guy, K-Ci & JoJo and Doug E. Fresh.
SWV recently joined MBK Entertainment, the management firm run by Jeff Robinson, former manager of Alicia Keys.
MBK Entertainment also represents R&B singers Elle Varner and Tyrese, as well as “Love & Hip-Hip ATL” star K. Michelle.

Love SWV! It’s unfortunate the label and previous management didn’t truly promote I Missed Us! The album is Grammy worthy especially If Only You Knew! I wish the girls nothing but continued success
