Singer Bobby Brown was arrested this morning in Los Angeles for DUI.
This is the 43-year-old New Edition singer’s second DUI arrest this year.
According to TMZ, law enforcement allegedly pulled Brown over around 1a.m. when they observed the singer driving erratically on a Los Angeles street.
Officers approached the “My Prerogative” singer’s vehicle and apparently detected a strong odor of alcohol — at which point they asked Brown to get out of his car.
Brown allegedly performed poorly on a field sobriety test so the officers arrested him on suspicion of DUI. He was booked shortly thereafter.
The singer was arrested in March for DUI as well. He pleaded no contest and was sentenced to probation and ordered to complete a 90-day alcohol education program.
This past August, AlwaysAList.com reported that Brown had checked into a rehab facility for alcohol abuse.
Brown also has a DUI conviction on his record from 1996.
