Actor Dulé Hill, 37, has filed for legal separation from his wife, actress Nicole Lyn, 34.
The couple wed in July 2004 and have apparently been separated since their eight-year anniversary this year.
The star of USA Network’s “Psych” cited irreconcilable differences in the documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The couple reportedly has no children.
The East Brunswick, New Jersey-bred actor is best known for his starring role on “West Wing,” which landed him two Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2001 and 2002.
Lyn—whose mother is Jamaican and father is Chinese and Caucasian—is also an actress best known for her role on “Student Bodies,” a Canadian teen comedy series.
She is also a deejay who performs under the name Ms. Nix.
