Is there a sequel to Ray J and Kim Kardashian’s sex tape “Kim Kardashian: Superstar” on the horizon?
Supposedly, additional tapes from the former couple’s three-year relationship is being shopped around for $30 million, reports the UK newspaper, The Daily Star.
“It’s definitely Kim in the video. And it’s even raunchier than her last one. There are all kinds of eye-popping moments,” a source who has seen the footage tells the publication.
The original sex tape, acquired by Vivid Entertainment for $1 million and released in Feb. 2007, was a best-selling X-rated video. The sex tape made both Ray J and Kardashian household names, and was the launching pad for the entire Kardashian family empire.
A source familiar with the original sex tape deal told AlwaysAList.com that it was Kardashian’s former friend, Paris Hilton who encouraged the socialite and her singer/actor boyfriend to shoot the sex tape. Hilton also introduced Kardashian to the person who brokered the deal for her sex tape with Vivid Entertainment.
Neither Ray J nor Kardashian have commented on the reports of a second sex tape being shopped.
UPDATED: Vivid Entertainment CEO Steve Hirsch spoke to TMZ about the possibility of there being a new tape being shopped.
“We’ve already spoken to the third party that brought the first tape to us and, a second tape, or additional footage from the first tape isn’t being shopped around or even exists,” he said.
Hirsch also warns that if anyone is trying to resell footage that already belongs to him … he will “use all legal means possible to protect our ownership.”
