Sheree Whitfield: Former “Real Housewives” Star Scores Child Support Victory With NFL Ex

Sheree Whitfield & Bob Whitfield

Looks as though former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Sheree Whitfield just scored a victory over her former NFL ex-husband Bob Whitfield.

A judge has ordered the former Atlanta Falcons to pay more than $75,000 in overdue child support and has 21 days to do so.

According to legal documents first obtained by TMZ, Whitfield confessed he failed to make 38 monthly child support payments of $2,142 to his 42-year-old reality star ex-wife, which totals more than $81,000.

The former NFL star claimed he just didn’t have the money. Bob petitioned to the court to lower his child support obligation and that motion was denied.

Bob, who once signed a $30 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons, has until Nov. 11 to pay his ex-wife $75,000 or “face the consequences in court.”

The parties also agreed that Bob will pay $1,000 per month for the next 12 months, and then will revert back to the original $2,142 monthly payment.

The former couple has two children, Kaleigh, 13 and Kairo, 16.

Sheree and Bob actually went to court last season on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and her cast member, attorney Phaedra Parks represented her in court.

After appearing on four seasons of the hit Bravo reality series, it was announced that Sheree would not be returning for the fifth season after the reunion specials aired this past spring.

Now…this is news I’m happy about. It took 2 people to make those children, so 2 people need to be responsible for them. Shame on him and he should really be ashamed of how he acted on the show. Oh well, the law of the land dealt with him. Now he has to pay up. I guess justice does work…sometimes. Congrats Sheree!!!
