Now, two weeks later, Snider wants a divorce. In a story first reported by TMZ Sports, Snider has already moved out of the house and is planning to file for divorce.
The soon-to-be ex-wife is a postal worker who claims that Owens only married her to get her to cosign on a loan for a $2 million home in Sherman Oaks, CA.
“I felt in love and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken,” Snider said.
In a Twitter message, she also wrote: “I will not bash him on Twitter or any other forum. He has children and family. What needs to be said will be said in court.”
The 40-year-old former athlete has had widely reported financial problems and child support issues.
Despite that, a rep for Owens claims: “Money is not an issue for Terrell.”
His publicist also claimed that Snider’s name is not the primary name on the loan.
“Come on, she’s a postal worker,” added the rep. “Do you really think she’s the primary on the loan?”
The rep also claims that Owens plans to file for divorce as well as soon as he returns to California.
Apparently, he is also shooting a new show that is slated to air sometime in March. (They wouldn’t disclose details.) He also has a small part in the new film, “About Last Night.”
