Domestic maven B. Smith is adding radio host to her long list of titles.
The former model and her husband/manager, Dan Gasby will host a new radio show for Sirius XM Radio called “The B. Smith and ‘Thank You Dan’ Show.”
The daily, three-hour show hosted by the husband-and-wife team will premiere on Monday, Feb. 11 from 3:00 pm ET to 6:00 pm ET. The show joins the programming lineup on SiriusXM Urban View channel 128, which is formerly the channel called The Power.
The popular entrepreneur, restaurateur, television host, and author and her mate said the show will focus on companionship, inspiration, food, fashion, and fun.
“Dan and I are looking forward to being back on the air again-especially since this time my husband will be stepping out from behind the scenes,” said B. Smith, Chief Creative Officer, B. Smith Enterprises. “While I will be spicing up the airways with conversation about food, fashion, fun and how to do it all with style, expect Dan to be full of surprises. Our interests range from politics to the state of small businesses and the need for mentorship of people of diverse cultures. But, we’ll also keep it fun and even comment on who said what on The Voice last night. Rest assured this will be like no other show on SiriusXM!”
Smith’s show joins Joe Madison, Al Sharpton, and other channel hosts on SiriusXM Urban View to offer listeners conversations about lifestyle, social, political, and economic issues from the African American perspective.The 63-year-old Pittsburgh native is one of the first black models to grace the cover of a national women’s magazine.
Smith now has several successful product lines in stores nationwide, and has three namesake restaurants in New York City, Sag Harbor and Washington, DC.
