Fox’s entertainment news talk show “Hollywood Today Live” will return for a second season.
The revamped news magazine daytime series has just snagged actress/model Garcelle Beauvais to be one-fourth of its hosting team.
The former star of “The Jamie Foxx Show” and “NYPD Blue” joins the already announced Ross Mathews, who officially joined the show in December 2015 as an official co-host.
No stranger to talk show world, the Haitian-born Beauvais was cast opposite actor Jerry O’Connell for a CBS talk show that ultimately did not make it to air. She’s also guest-hosted on shows like “The View” and “The Meredith Vieira Show.”
Beauvais and Mathews replace previous hosts Porsha Coleman and AJ Gibson respectively, both of whom hosted the show during its test run in summer 2014 and after it was picked up in 2015. Fox decided not to renew their contract options.
The other two original hosts, Kristen Brockman and Tanner Thomason will remain with the show.
“Hollywood Today Live” airs on 12 Fox-owned stations and in 33 Media General markets. Media General’s production studio BiteSizeTV produces the show.
