Good news for Grammy-winning singing sisters Mary Mary. The gospel duo’s self-titled reality show has just been renewed for a third season.
WE tv announced today that the women’s network has ordered 10 episodes of the one-hour show that chronicles the life of the chart-topping music group.
“We’re so excited about the next season as we enter a new phase in our lives and careers. This past year has been both overwhelming and exciting and we were happy to share those moments with our fans. We are grateful to provide viewers with an honest look into who we are and how we handle our differences, and we hope to continue to inspire and encourage people through our show in addition to our music,” said Mary Mary’s Erica Campbell.
Season two of “Mary Mary” was up 16%, according to WE tv. The show reached 5.2 million total viewers.
In addition to focusing on the music careers Erica and her sister Tina Campbell, the show also features their respective husbands, Warryn and Teddy Campbell; their sister/stylist, Goo Goo; their flamboyant manager, Mitchell Solarek; and other family members.
“Mary Mary” will begin shooting their new season in Los Angeles in mid-March.
