Nick Cannon has landed yet another hosting gig. The Hollywood funnyman will host the revived “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” for the Style Network.
A revamp of the series originally hosted by the iconic Robin Leach in the 1980s and ’90s, Cannon will begin production on Style’s retooled version of the show this fall.
“To be a part of Style’s reimagination of this iconic show and follow in the footsteps of the legendary Robin Leach is a dream come true,” Cannon said in a Hollywood Reporter exclusive. “Even though I am fortunate to have certain luxuries, sometimes, I am even amazed by what people with money have and do. I want to remind people that just because you might be rich and famous, it doesn’t mean you have to take yourself too seriously.”
Cannon will host and executive produce the new version via his NCredible Entertainment banner. Style has not determined a launch date for the series.
The 32-year-old entertainer currently hosts “America’s Got Talent” and his recently re-launched “Wild N’ Out” on MTV2. He also recently hosted Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards and the Halo Awards.
