Queen Latifah has started off her 2014 with good news.
Her daytime talk show “The Queen Latifah Show” has been renewed for a second season by Sony Pictures Television who got a season two order on CBS Stations.
The rapper/actress had an impressive debut with her second daytime talk show, which premiered in September 2013.
“We are proud to have the CBS stations as our partners as we continue to build ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ into a franchise brand,” said Sony TV U.S. president of distribution, John Weiser. “We look forward to building on the success of this year’s #1 new talk show by delivering the highest quality program to our stations, advertisers and viewers.”
Produced by Flavor Unit, Overbrook Entertainment and Sony, “The Queen Latifah Show” has out-performed all of the other new talk shows to premiere in 2013.
The show is cleared in 97-percent of the country, predominantly airing on CBS stations.
