Star Jones won’t be returning to daytime TV this fall.
A planned ensemble talk show led by the former co-host of “The View” is being delayed until fall 2015.
Jones is slated to head up a legal talk show that station group E. W. Scripps is developing in partnership with Debmar-Mercury. The production company Debmar-Mercury also produces the “Wendy Williams Show” and “Jeremy Kyle.”
The former Senior Assistant District Attorney has provided legal commentary on NBC’s “Today” and on various talk shows. The 51-year-old lawyer also previously hosted her own court show, “Jones & Jury” back in 1994.
In addition to gearing up for her TV return, the Badin, North Carolina-bred talent, who launched her first clothing line Status By Star Jones via QVC back in September, is the National Spokesperson for the National Association of Professional Women.
