There are changes in store when Wendy Williams’ daytime talk show returns for its fourth season on Sept. 10.
The nationally syndicated chat show, which also repeats in the evenings on Black Entertainment Television, will air in high-definition, have a new set, enhanced studio and will extending its “Hot Topics” segment.
“Hot Topics”—the show’s most popular feature—will be expanded from its current 10 to 12 minutes to nearly 18 minutes. That’ll offer the flamboyant TV talent even more time to misreport stories from arbitrary gossip blogs and tabloid magazines.
The show’s new set design was done by Williams’ resident set designer Mark Sloan and will of course feature the 48-year-old host’s favorite colors, pink and purple.
The former radio shock jock recently shot promotional segments for her new season outdoors in New York’s Times Square and Columbus Circle that feature her sitting on the purple couch from her set.
The “Wendy Williams Show” has been renewed on the Fox-owned stations through 2014.
