The Winner Is: Kym Whitley To Host NAACP Theatre Awards
Comedienne Kym Whitley has been tapped to host the 24th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards.
The star of OWN Network’s “Raising Whitley” and ABC Family’s “Young & Hungry” will oversee the ceremony on Monday, Nov. 17.
The 24th Annual NAACP Theatre Awards will take place at the historical Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, Calif. at 6pm.
Leading the equity nominations with seven is “Breath and Imagination,” receiving a “Best Director of a Musical” nomination for Saundra McClain and “Best Lead Female” and “Best Lead Male” nominations for Karan Kendrick and Elijah Rock.
The NAACP Theatre Awards is presented by the Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP Branch.
