Donna Richardson Joyner: Releases Sexy Swimsuit Photos To Celebrate Her Birthday
A former contributor on NBC’s “Today” show and an ESPN commentator, Donna made her mark in the fitness world as part of “Buns of Steel” workout video franchise more than 20-years ago.
“It’s humbling to reflect back to over 20 years ago when my career started,” she told AlwaysAList.com. “I have lived a very blessed life and I’m excited about continuing to grow and evolve into the woman God created me to become.”
The Washington, DC-bred wellness guru has gone on to release several successful workout DVDs of her own, among them “Donna Richardson: 3-Day Rotation” (1999), “Sweating In The Spirit” (2003), “Sweating In The Spirit Vol. 2” (2006), and “Body Gospel” (2010).

After a decade of being married to syndicated radio host Tom Joyner, the couple quietly divorced in 2012. After taking some time to reflect, travel and get closer to God, Donna said she’s enjoying life as a “sexy single” and has began dating again—though she wasn’t willing to share any names.
“I’m enjoying the essences of who I am in this season of my life. I’m full of life, love and lasting energy,” she smiled.
Having recently turned 52-years-old, Donna said she’s in the best shape of her life. In the last few years, she and a group of friends climbed the Tanzanian mountain, Kilimanjaro, and she apart of the first all-black female relay team to run in the Hood To Coast Relay in Portland, Oregon.
Her recent travel jaunts, girlfriend adventures and happily-single life sparked Donna’s desires to explore opportunities beyond her fitness expertise and expand into the travel space.
“I have traveled to 50 states, 50 countries and 6 continents and continue to sow seeds wherever I go,” she shared. “Now, I can share and inspire others to explore different cultures, people and the world.”

Donna is now a contributing writer for Pathfinder Travel Magazine and recently launched a YouTube show called “Travel Crashers.” She also has several television shows related to travel and adventure in development.
“The world is a great book! He who never leaves home only sees one page,” she reminded.
Donna has also started hosting segments for the ABC affiliate WFAA Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas.
To celebrate her recent 52nd birthday and to inspire other women to maintain their health and fitness regimens, Donna released several swimsuit photos of her on the beach in Boca Raton and Miami, Florida.
