A 90-minute production set in the 1930′s in Harlem, the finger-snapping, foot-tapping trip through the Renaissance era is a seductively joyous jazz journey.

In addition to Barrino, recording artists like Toni Braxton, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, k.d. lang, Vanessa Williams and Patti LaBelle starred in the production as well during its seven-month Broadway run.

The show’s original director/choreographer, Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle will oversee the recreation of the production for the Escape.  The show will continue to include costumes by Isabel Toledo and the set by John Lee.

The Norwegian Cruise Line has not cast their version of “After Midnight” yet.
