Headline News: Rocsi Diaz Lands New Network Gig

Former “Entertainment Tonight” daily correspondent and weekend co-anchor Rocsi Diaz has landed a new network job.

The 31-year-old host has inked a gig with CNN’s ratings-plagued sister network HLN, which is the home of Nancy Grace.

Diaz will she will work on their show “The Daily Share” as an anchor, covering entertainment, lifestyle, fashion and sports.  “The Daily Share” airs from noon to 5pm ET weekdays.

The Honduras-bred talent will work alongside the show’s hosts Ali Nejad and Yasmin Vossoughian.

A description of “The Daily Share” explains that the show “aggregates social media news and lifestyle content of the day, giving viewers a digest of what people are watching, searching, playing, sharing, shopping and creating.”  The series is part of the HLN’s re-brand as the social media network.

Diaz, a former host of BET’s “106 & Park,” left “E.T.” this month after two years following a show overhaul.
