Full Circle: Joe Clair Hosting Hometown Morning Show
Comedian Joe Clair will helm a new morning show in Washington, DC.
The former host of BET’s “Rap City” will take over mornings on CBS Radio’s WPGC 95.5 FM in the nation’s capital starting on Feb. 9. Clair will host alongside Tati, Guy Lambert and Poet.
The new opportunity at WPGC is a full circle moment for the DC native, who started his radio career hosting a Sunday night hip-hop show with Big Tigger on WPGC years ago.
“I am thrilled to take on this new challenge. D.C. is my home and I want to give the market a world-class product with local sensibilities. I started my radio journey at WPGC so it feels incredible to be back. I want to have a lot of fun, be as timely and topical as possible, play great music and make my listeners laugh,” said Clair.
The funnyman moves to mornings on WPGC following a stint on the Frank Ski’s afternoon radio show on DC station WHUR 96.3FM.
