HOT SHOTS: Tank, Khloe Kardashian, Charlamagne The God, Chrisette Michele, Black WOMEN Rock & more

Jessica Care Moore’s Black WOMEN Rock! organization recently hosted its 12th Annual Black WOMEN Rock! (BWR!) Concert to a sold-out audience at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit.

Over 500 concert-goers showed up to the Museum for the concert, which paid tribute to Betty Davis, a funk artist and “pioneer rocker.”

Among those who performed were singer Kimberly Nichole (“The Voice”), bass player Divinity Roxx (Beyonce), guitarist and vocalist Kat Dyson (Prince/George Clinton) and event organizer and executive producer, Moore.

The concert was part of Black WOMEN Rock! and the Charles Wright Museum’s Women’s History Month celebrations.

In addition to the concert, the museum also presented a special five-day exhibition titled “Nasty Gal” curated by Detroit visual artist Sabrina Nelson.
