HOT SHOTS: Kelly Rowland, Kandi Burruss, Nelly, SWV, Kirk Franklin, Tamar Braxton & more
Grammy winner Kelly Rowland has been on a whirlwind promotional tour generating press for her upcoming competition series “Chasing Destiny” on BET.
Premiering April 5, 2016 at 10pm ET, the hour-long reality show will show the former Destiny’s Child member working with a team of experts to assemble the next superstar girl group.
Rowland participated in a panel discussion at The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live with fellow singer, Grammy winner Kandi Burruss, who rose to stardom in the R&B girl group XScape before her newfound fame on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The session was moderated by TV personality Nina Parker.
Since Destiny’s Child ended—a group that Billboard ranked as the number three female group of all time—Rowland has gone on to become an international superstar with a thriving career in both R&B and dance music.
Additionally, she has worked as a host on both the UK and U.S. versions of “The X Factor,” as well as become a corporate darling with major endorsement deals with brands like Caress Body Wash, Seagram’s Escapes and Dreft hypoallergenic laundry detergent.
