Zane’s “Addicted” Film: Sharon Leal, Tyson Beckford & Tasha Smith Join Cast

Casting is complete for the film adaptation of Zane’s novel, “Addicted.”

“Dreamgirls” star Sharon Leal, “Why Did I Get Married” actress Tasha Smith and supermodel Tyson Beckford have been added to the cast. previously reported on Oct. 26 that Boris Kodjoe had landed the lead role of Jason Reynard.

Leal will star opposite Kodjoe, playing Zoe, a wife and mother of three kids unfulfilled by her perfectly quaint marriage and she finds herself satisfying her addiction to sex with other men.

Smith, who currently stars on the TBS series “For Better or Worse,” will play Dr. Marcella Spencer, Zoe’s therapist who helps her through the sex addiction.

Emayatzy Corinealdi, William Levy & Kat Graham

Other cast members include Beckford, “Dancing with the Stars” finalist William Levy, “Middle of Nowhere” star Emayatzy Corinealdi, and “The Vampire Diaries” star Kat Graham.

Billie Woodruff will direct the erotic drama, and it will be produced by Paul Hall and Charisse Nesbit.

The film “Addicted” is an adaptation of a novel by New York Times best-selling author Zane. This is the author’s first feature film adaption; however she turned her book “The Sex Chronicles” into a Cinemax series called “Zane’s Sex Chronicles.”
