Byron Cage: Gospel Star Launches Radio Show

Gospel superstar Byron Cage may be on his way to becoming the hardest working man in gospel industry.

The six-time Stellar Award winner is now adding radio personality to his already busy schedule, signing on to host a weekly show for Radio One’s Praise 104.1 FM in Washington, DC.

Cage’s radio show, “Sunday Joy” will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 25, and air from noon to 4pm each week. The show can also be streamed online at www.PraiseDC.com.

The Grand Rapids, MI-bred vocalist also serves as minister of music at two mega-churches.

Cage continues to work at the Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, MD; and earlier this year Cage began double duty at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Richmond, VA.

The singer, also known for hits like “I Will Bless The Lord,” “Broken But I’m Healed,” and “The Presence of the Lord,” is currently featured on the cover of Frequency Inspirational Magazine.

Cage will celebrate his 50th birthday in December with a private bash in Washington, DC.
