Beyoncé: Announces World Tour Following Super Bowl Halftime Show

Beyoncé’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime show is winning the praise of both fans and critics alike!

The 13-minute performance in New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome featured a medley of the Houston-bred superstar’s biggest hits, and featured a reunion with her Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The group electrified the stadium and set social media ablaze and had fans begging for a full-fledged reunion sooner than later.

After dazzling the capacity crowd in New Orleans and TV viewers alike, fans may have to wait on Destiny’s Child rekindling for a run on the road.

Beyoncé announced that she’s going on a 2013 world tour called the “Mrs. Carter Show,” which is the singer’s legal name being married to her husband, rap star Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter.

The international tour jaunt will kick off in Europe on April 15; with the North American leg will get under way in June. Tickets for the North America dates begin going on sale Feb. 11.

Beyoncé also posted a hand-written note online celebrating her Destiny’s Child members, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson on their participation in Super Bowl XLVII.
