Beyoncé: Singer Releases New Music

Beyoncé is back with new music. The pop superstar has released the first two songs from her upcoming solo CD.

The 31-year-old superstar unveiled a gritty, profanity-laced hip-hop track called ‘Bow Down’ on her SoundCloud page. Produced by Hit-Boy, the song showcases Jay-Z’s wife and Blue Ivy’s mother chanting “bow down, bitches” before declaring: “I took some time to live my life, don’t think I’m just his little wife.”

‘Bow Down’ then transitions into a Timbaland-produced song ‘I Been On,’ an eerie, gothic-sounding track with a rap apparently by Beyoncé, who sounds like the villain in an animated feature film as she talks with extreme vocal distortion.

Other than her appearance on the new Destiny’s Child song “Nuclear,” this is Beyoncé’s first solo offering since her 2011 CD, “Four.”

As previously reported by, Beyoncé will kick off her “Mrs. Carter World Tour” on June 28 in Los Angeles.
