A-List Rides: 2013 Kia Soul
Do you have rhythm? Ever been in a jukebox on wheels? Do you love the light show inside of a limousine? These are all the questions that you may want to ask yourself before even exploring the Kia Soul.
I have been intrigued by this vehicle for quite some time. It’s distinctive and quirky and it definitely catches your eye when you see it on the road. So when I was told it would be test driving one, let’s just say, like the lights inside this vehicle, I did a little dance!
The 2013 Kia Soul really defies a description or category. It’s like a small-sized SUV and almost a crossover vehicle. It’s semi-sporty and kind of shaped like a box. But its oddness makes it unique, and that uniqueness makes it appealing for people who want a vehicle with personality.
It has a four-cylinder engine that doesn’t pack tremendous punch, but for simple city sleeking it’s just what you need. Not exactly the smoothest ride – but if you’re grooving while driving you don’t care. But it’s an ideal choice for college kids, first time drivers or someone who just wants something cool to move around in.
The video below will give you an inside look into the Kia Soul, where you’ll see the light show, its spacious interior and the general offerings that the vehicle features.
Spin Control: It has a base price of $20,675 and my test model was almost $24,000. You’re definitely getting what you pay for. It’s fun and festive and for its target demographic, you just have to decide if that’s you!
