Carmelo Anthony: Honored By Hennessy With Privilège Award
NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony was honored by Hennessy in New York City last night with the Hennessy Privilège Award.
Held at the Big Apple hotspot The Griffin, the New York Knicks forward was recognized for philanthropic work and ongoing community service through his Carmelo Anthony Foundation.
The 29-year-old hoops star was presented his award by the 2004 Hennessy Privilège Award recipient, filmmaker and basketball enthusiast Spike Lee. Hennessy Senior Vice President Rodney Williams was there as well to help toast the honoree.
Among the other celebrities on hand for the 10th anniversary awards event for Hennessy were comedian Jay Pharoah (“Saturday Night Live”), Rocsi Diaz (“Entertainment Tonight”), New York Knicks player J.R. Smith, rapper Fabolous, actor/singer Mack Wilds, TV personality/singer Adrienne Bailon, singer Luke James and DJ Clue.[divider]
