Gabrielle Union: “Think Like A Man Too” Star Letting Dwyane Wade Plan Wedding

“Think Like A Man Too” follows Candace (Regina Hall) and Michael (Terrence Jenkins) as they prepare to jump the broom Las Vegas style.

Set in Sin City, the comedy captures the pressures of preparing for their nuptials, while managing the antics of their wild and crazy friends.

Gabrielle Union‘s character Kristen is married to Jeremy (Jerry Ferrara) in the movie and the two are trying to have children. Union’s character is a bit overzealous, to say the least, about her efforts to get impregnated and removes the joy of baby-making from the scenario.

“Sometimes people associate having fun with being immature. With Kristen and Jeremy, she took the fun out of sex. The path to creating a child should never be without fun, joy and spontaneity. We should all keep a little bit of fun and immaturity as a part of our lives,” she told, before adding: “Especially as part of our sex lives!”

During our interview, which took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., the 41-year-old actress said that people should maintain excitement in all of our relationships.

“A lot of times we become grownups and we feel like we have to act grown. Part of acting grown is to eliminate all of the fun of your life. I think the biggest thing overall we all kind of talk about with relationships in general or friendships is never lose the fun of any relationships,” she explained.”

Union is gearing up to wed NBA champion Dwyane Wade, the 32-year-old starting guard for the Miami Heat.

Despite his playoff matches against the San Antonio Spurs, Union said that Wade has been taking the lead with all of their wedding plans.

“Even though he was playing in the finals, he still has time to be a zilla,” she laughed, making reference to the term “groom-zilla.” “As much as people would like to think he’s was worried about Tony Parker or air conditioning San Antonio, he was more worried about centerpieces or the kind of wine we’re having.  He’s more of the one who is driving the bus and I’m working on ‘Being Mary Jane.'”

Union and Wade have not revealed the date of their wedding, however one date we know for sure is “Think Like A Man Too” (Screen Gems) opens in theaters on Friday, June 20.
